The purpose of the occasion is to get to know each other and to exchange activity and cooperation ideas. Additionally, we tell about HYY’s cultural services for organisations. Two top choirs, The Academic Choral Society and Cantabile, join their forces in a concert of the Holy Week. The program of the concert reflects man's eternal longing from shades to light. Presented are among other works Palestrina's medieval Laudate Dominum, sweetly flowing double-choir music of Mendelssohn and Sven-David Sandström's excitingly modern variation of Purcell's composition Hear my Prayer, O Lord. The concert is conducted by Ruut Kiiski. The tenor soloist is Martti Anttila. Welcome to enjoy the magical atmosphere created by two high level choirs!
